The Call
Many people struggle with finding meaning in their work and ultimately finding a purpose in life. God’s call helps us to find meaning in work and all of life. Through studying the life of Abraham, Jacob, and Moses we’ll learn to discover God’s call for our own lives and how we can faithfully follow that call. Following God’s call will be at times difficult but also exhilarating. Join us as we learn about finding, following and remembering God’s call in our lives.
James: Life-Changing Faith
Faith can often feel like an abstract belief in an invisible God. The book of James shows us how faith should be a really living reality that affects the way we see suffering, money, speech and the future. Faith can either be an empty belief or a life changing reality that keeps us connected to Jesus and His coming Kingdom.
I am angry enough to die
By putting to death our sins, we can live in a way that shocks and disarms our culture. Christ calls us to put on more of himself as the pathway to true peace and harmony.
Questioning Christianity
During the last week of Jesus’ earthly ministry he addressed many of the pressing questions people have about Christianity. Many people wonder why Christians are so hypocritical or so obsessed with politics and sex. Other people question key Christian teachings like communion or Jesus’ death on the cross. As we study the Gospel of Mark we will hear Jesus' winsome answers to our modern questions.
