A Weary World Rejoices
Though Advent is a season of incredible hope, it always begins in the darkness, in the midst of hopelessness and despair. During Advent we see that in the midst of the bad news of the world, God gives us an incredible message of hope through the coming of the true King. Jesus will be the King we desperately need but ultimately the One we've longed for our entire lives.

Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist, starts out skeptical of God's plan for his life. But through a season of doubt he emerges full of faith and confidence in God's salvation. God can work through our doubts, our darkness and our distresses to eventually bring us into wonderful light.
